Piktun Eclipse Zuvuya

Today and the next couple days are especially resonant with future zuvuya circuits involving the Galactic Mayan eclipse cycles. If you don’t fully understand this information or what I’ve written previously, don’t worry about it. These posts are intended to function as milestone markers and foundations for future explorations. As you track the cycles yourself you will begin to see the patterns as they come into focus, and the way from milestone to milestone will become familiar with time. (Again, this information will carry much more meaning for those who have already explored the archives.)

Here are some basic considerations relevant to the present moment:

The completion of the current piktun on 1.0.0.0.0.0 10 Ajaw will coincide with Dreamspell kin 38 during an 11 Storm year, 53 solar galactic cycles from the present 11 Storm year.

According to a careful astronomical calculation, the piktun completion might more accurrately coincide with kin 39 or 40, giving us the “warning station” window of kin 38-40.

The piktun coronation, 8 days later on 1.0.0.0.0.8, will be the traditional day 5 Lamat, equivalent to kin 148. During the 11 Storm year of the piktun coronation a full solar eclipse will take place on or around Dreamspell kin 148. This “warning station” of kin 146-148 corresponds to Moon 7 days 20-22 of an 11 Storm year. Today is kin 146 on Moon 7 day 20 of the 11 Storm year, meaning that the first full solar eclipse of the next piktun will be coming into alignment precisely 53 solar galactic cycles from now.

This warning station is also in resonance with a total lunar eclipse that will take place one year from now.

The piktun eclipse warning station of Moon 7 day 20-22 begins 39 days following the southern solstice (Moon 6 day 9). Currently the southern solstice Sun aligns with the center of the Milky Way galaxy, and between now and the completion of the current piktun this alignment will shift by approximately 39 days due to precession. This means that the first full solar eclipse of the current piktun will be in alignment with the center of the galaxy, with the sun in the same sidereal position as it was at the completion of the 13 baktun cycle (2012 AD).

The final full solar eclipse of the 13 baktun cycle took place 38 days before the completion of the baktun, and the first full solar eclipse of Baktun 8 also took place at this same sidereal position, approximately 38 days before the galactic alignment.

There is a very special relationship of Baktun 8, Baktun 13, and the piktun (Baktun 20), to one another based on these eclipse patterns. The completion of 8 baktuns is synchronized to the traditional day 9 Ajaw (8.0.0.0.0 9 Ajaw), and today is 9 Ajaw traditional, also inscribed on the key Temple XIV table.

The total lunar eclipse that will occur one year from now will be the first full lunar eclipse since the completion of the Blood Moon lunar tetrad, and will mark our full entry into the Love Moon phase of galactic synchronization.

The close conjunction of Jupiter and Spica is now visible in the early morning. Providing a nice symmetry, Venus and Mars are visible nearby one another in the evening. The Venus/Mars conjunction will be joined by the crescent moon two days from now, on kin 148, exactly one year before the full lunar eclipse.

Present Zuvuya of Prophecies Future

 

We are currently passing through an important window of time that connects us to the beginning of the next piktun, when 20 baktuns, that is an interval of roughly 8,000 years, will have passed from the long count zero date 13.0.0.0.0 4 Ajaw 8 Kumk’u.

The completion of the piktun at 1.0.0.0.0.0 10 Ajaw is recorded in prophetic context at Palenque’s Pyramid of the Inscriptions. Of special importance is the piktun’s opening sequence of 8 days, complete on 1.0.0.0.0.8 5 Lamat 1 Mol, which the text also records. The calendar round date 5 Lamat 1 Mol is the same as the date of Pakal’s accession to the kingship of Palenque on 9.9.2.4.8 5 Lamat 1 Mol, and the day of the prophecy 8 days following the completion of the piktun will mark 80 calendar rounds, 80 occurrences of 5 Lamat 1 Mol, from Pakal’s accession.

Reckoning from today, the 8-day window of prophecy will be opening up in precisely 53 solar-galactic cycles’ time:

Note that the above correlation is based on a precise astronomical measure of the tropical year, and is not quite the same as the correlation to the modern Gregorian calendar. According to the Gregorian correlation, the first day of the next piktun will be October 14, while today is October 16.

The difference of two days is minor, and it’s reasonable to allow for a three-day leeway, such that 1.0.0.0.0.1 = Moon 3 day 25-27, which I have found productive. (See previous esssay Planetary Enchantment and the Turn of the Piktun.) In this scenario:

These three-day windows are similar to the three-day warning stations of the Dresden Codex eclipse table. As my previous writings have shown, the Dresden eclipse table indicates special connections between the baktun shifts at 8.0.0.0.0 9 Ajaw, 13.0.0.0.0 4 Ajaw 3 Kank’in, and the piktun shift of 20 baktuns at 1.0.0.0.0.0 10 Ajaw. One key to this is the relationship of the tzolkin to the tropical year, common to the year of the 8-baktun shift, the year of the eclipse table’s base date, and the year of the piktun shift:

(The difference of 1 moon between 10 Ajaw and the eclipse table base on 12 Lamat, as gone over (and over again) in my previous writings, indicates the precessional shift of approximately 28-days from Baktun 8 to Baktun 13, and the nearly identical sidereal positions (in alignment with the Pleiades) of the eclipses that took place during the year of the 8-baktun shift and the year of the 13-baktun shift.)

This time of year, from the end of Moon 3 to the beginning of Moon 5 is highly activated by the superposition of a number of key Galactic Mayan zuvuya portals, including the following:

Ux Lut K’uh emanation = Moon 4 day 2-20
Paris Codex 13 Moon count interval = Moon 4 day 17-24
Dresden eclipse table implied interval = Moon 4 day 23-27
Temple XIV ceremonial interval = Moon 4 day 18 – Moon 5 day 2

This culminates in the “New Fire” Pleiadian alignment on Moon 5 day 4. There is much to be said about all of it, some covered in my previous writings, and there are other important Galactic Mayan references to this window from Yaxchilan and the Chilam Balam texts, but for now lets keep our focus at the beginning of this interval and take a look at its historical significance.

It is indeed a focal point of historical reckoning as Moon 3 day 25-26 marks the anniversary of the implementation of the Gregorian calendar, when, in 1582 AD, the Julian date of October 4 (Moon 3 day 25, kin 229) was followed the next day with the Gregorian date of October 15 (Moon 3 day 26, kin 230).

Moon 3 day 25 also happens to be one of the days upon which observation of the imperial holiday “Columbus Day” takes place according to current U.S. federal custom. According to the Washington Post, “Columbus Day” was first made a federal holiday in 1937 due to pressure from the Catholic Church, which was interested in the establishment of a federal holiday devoted to a Catholic figure. At first the holiday was placed on October 12, as Columbus was famously discovered by indigenous Americans on Guanahani Island on October 12 in 1492. However, due to the difference between the Julian calendar of 1492 and the Gregorian calendar of 1937, the October 12 U.S. observation was not a precise solar anniversary of the event.

The actual solar anniversary of the Columbus event corresponds to Gregorian October 21. In 1971 the U.S. altered the observation so that it now takes place on “the second Sunday of October”, which can be anything from October 8-14; but this remains disassociated from the actual solar anniversary of the event. Interestingly, the timing of the Columbus Day observation from October 8-14 more closely matches the Gregorian implementation — dynamics certainly worth making conscious, especially in light of the Catholic Church’s influential role in the holiday’s establishment.

Columbus event = Oct 12, 1492 Julian (Oct 21 proleptic Gregorian)

Gregorian event = Oct 14-15 Gregorian (= Oct 4-5 Julian) 1582

“Columbus Day” = Oct 8-14 Gregorian, 1937-present

This means that between October 8 and 14 of every year the United States’ imperial government mandates a federal holiday on behalf of the interests of the Catholic Church. The holiday is ostensibly a recognition of “the discovery of America” ( a misconception to begin with), but the timing evokes the Church’s implementation of the Gregorian calendar, falling directly within the “missing time” interval from October 4-15.

(Do note that this “missing time is purely illusory; the Julian date October 4, 1582 is Moon 3 day 25, kin 229, and was followed with October 15, 1582 on the next day, Moon 3 day 26, kin 230.)

The actual solar anniversary of the Columbus event is also interesting in this context, as the window from October 12-21, or from Moon 3 day 23 to Moon 4 day 4, is very near that of the piktun’s 8-day coronation interval:

“Columbus Day” = Moon 3 day 23 (October 12, 1937-1970 Gregorian)
Piktun completion = Moon 3 day 24-26 (1.0.0.0.0.0 10 Ajaw)

Columbus event = Moon 4 day 4 (October 12, 1492 Julian)
Piktun coronation = Moon 4 day 4-6 (1.0.0.0.0.8 5 Lamat 1 Mol)

In the correlation to the piktun that I tend to prefer, 1.0.0.0.0.8 5 Lamat corresponds to Moon 4 day 6, putting it two days past the anniversary of the Columbus event on Moon 4 day 4. This is an interesting correspondence, since the Columbus event on Moon 4 day 4 (of a 7 Storm year) was Dreamspell kin 146, White Electric World-bridger, equivalent to the traditional sign 3 Kimi, and 3 Kimi, being 2 days before 5 Lamat, will then fall within the piktun interval, and precisely on the solar anniversary of the Columbus event:

Piktun day 6 = 1.0.0.0.0.6 3 Kimi

So enough about all that! (And anyway there’s the 10 Wizard PAN report if you want more.) What else is going on at this time of year?

We are now, from today, Moon 3 day 27, until the first day of Moon 4, in a special sidereal alignment with not just one but two great stars of primary importance — Spica and Arcturus.

Current sidereal alignments:

Spica solar conjunction = Moon 3 day 27-28
Arcturus solar conjunction = Moon 3 day 28 – Moon 4 day 1

Although at the turn of the piktun this alignment will no longer be taking place at this same time of year, there is another important future zuvuya nexus to consider. This information comes from a temple stairway at Yaxchilan, which records the long count date 9.15.13.6.9 3 Muluk in a special style in which 8 levels above the baktun are all set at 13, like this:

The date 9.15.13.6.9 corresponds to Moon 4 day 2, the same time of year as the piktun coronation interval:

Wondering why this particular date would be written in such a way, I realized that the sequence of 13s above the baktun indicate that the numbers will reach a maximum fractal harmonic when all units down to the kin column are set at 13. I then checked the correlation for the long count date 13.13.13.13.13 and found that it also corresponds to this same time of year:

Piktun coronation – Moon 4 day 4-6
9.15.13.6.9 3 Muluk = Moon 4 day 2
13.13.13.13.13 4 Ben = Moon 4 day 3

Both of these future zuvuya loci may be considered in terms of not only their tropical positions (which they share), but theirr sidereal positions (which are separated by more than a month) as well. To begin with 13.13.13.13.13 4 Ben, its sidereal position more than 13 katuns in the future, on Moon 4 day 3, will correspond to the sidereal position of what is now Moon 3 day 27 (the day I am writing this). As stated above, this sidereal position directly targets the solar conjunction of Spica, meaning the long count date 13.13.13.13.13 is precisely calibrated to this great star. (The alignment with Arcturus is also likely to be very close, but because, unlike Spica, Arcturus is far from the ecliptic, projecting it’s future position can be difficult for those lacking special computational aids.)

The Spica alignment is also noteworthy for its harmonic relationship to two other key sidereal locations — the Pleiades and the galactic center. Currently Spica’s solar conjunction takes place on Moon 3 day 27, Pleiadian opposition (indicating the Mesoamerican “New Fire” observation) takes place on Moon 5 day 4, and the galactic alignment takes place on Moon 6 day 9. Notice that this produces identical intervals of 33 days:

Galactic alignment (Moon 6 day 9)

Spica, like the Pleiades and galactic center, is right near the ecliptic and therefore the conjunction with the Sun is very close, and the 33-day harmonic connection Spica-Pleiades-GC should remain fairly stable throughout the 26,000-year precession cycle. In addition, Spica happens to be approximately 260 light years from Earth, which can be compared to the distance of approximately 26,000 light years to the galactic center.  (The distance to the Pleiades is approximately 441 light years.)

I will be exploring the significance of the 33-day intervals in much greater depth in the future. For now let’s turn our attention to the sidereal location that actually corresponds to the piktun completion and coronation. Between now and the completion of the piktun, precession will have shifted the stars by about 39 days relative to the tropical year, meaning the sidereal position of 1.0.0.0.0.0 currently takes place 39 days before Moon 3 day 25, on Moon 2 day 14, while the next 8 days, Moon 2 day 15-22, correspond in turn to the coronation interval from 10 Ajaw to 5 Lamat. Amazingly, Moon 2 day 14 is also the tropical anniversary of the completion of the 8th baktun:

During the current 11 Storm year, being 53 solar-galactic cycles before the year of the piktun shift, this sidereal position also corresponded to an eclipse sequence that took place from Moon 2 day 9-24:

Moon 2 day 9 = annular solar eclipse
Moon 2 day 14-22 = sidereal position of piktun interval
Moon 2 day 24 = penumbral lunar eclipse

This also happened to coincide with the death of the Mayan spiritual guide Hunbatz Men, which took place on Moon 2 day 15. This also connects us to the anniversary of the accession of the divine progenitor Muwaan Mat, which took place on Moon 2 day 14 (2.0.0.10.2. 9 Ik’), and to the death of the Muwaan Mat avatar Ix Sak K’uk’ on Moon 2 day 16. As I have been tracking in the recent PAN reports, this time of year has been particularly activated since the 7 Storm year:

As for the current time of year, as we transition out of Moon 3 and into Moon 4, it has also been highly activated in recent years, but we’ll save that for another post. Before concluding here, let’s take a closer look at some of the astronumerical patterns in play, especially having to do with the number 80.

Taking a look at the piktun completion, we have our window from kin 38 on Moon 3 day 24 to kin 40 on Moon 3 day 26. In the case of Moon 3 day 24, note that this is day 80 of the Dreamspell year. If we prefer the correlation to Moon 3 day 26 instead, note that this is 80 days from the anniversary of Pakal’s accession, from which the 80 calendar rounds are reckoned, as well as being kin 40, which codes the number of “Venus rounds” equivalent to 80 calendar rounds. (1 calendar round = 52 haab; 1 Venus round = 104 haab; 80 x 52 = 40 x 104. See previous essay Planetary Enchantment and the Turn of the Piktun.)  In a related way, the completion of the piktun on 10 Ajaw will take place 80 days following Pakal’s 8 Ajaw birth sign (8 Ajaw + 80 days = 10 Ajaw).

Another calibration to these harmonics was recorded by the galactic masters in the early colonial era, and can be found in both the Chronicles of Oxcutzcab and the books of Chilam Balam. The dates are veiled by Zuvuya language, but they refer to a sequence from the tun ending of 11.16.2.0.0 5 Ajaw 18 Tzek to the next instance of the same calendar round on 11.18.14.13.0 5 Ajaw 18 Tzek, and then to the date 11.18.19.14.0 5 Ajaw 13 Tzek.

Putting the first date aside, 11.18.14.13.0 5 Ajaw 18 Tzek corresponds to Moon 4 day 2, while 11.18.19.14.0 corresponds to Moon 3 day 24.

Furthermore, the final date 11.18.19.14.0 5 Ajaw 13 Tzek is not only on Dreamspell Day 80, it is also exactly 80 days before the completion of the katun on 11.19.0.0.0 7 Ajaw. Also note that the long count code 11.19 corresponds to the kin code 11:19 of an 11 Storm year, during which the 80 calendar cycle will be complete.
